Most Recently the team were tasked with an exciting project creating a recording studio at Waddesdon School in Aylesbury. The Studio was comprised of 1 main room with 2 adjoining rooms one to be where the mixing desk is housed and another for isolated vocal/drums). Hush also routed cabling between all three areas so they were synced up together to ensure a fluid system.
All work was carried out to our high standard which included constructing new frame in front of the existing walls with a 30mm gap allowing a controlled cavity to absorb airborne and vibrational frequencies. This is then followed up by adding the insulation high density acoustic quilt and covering with one layer 19mm AC HS Plank Board, with another layer of 15mm Board, ensuring cover up of various frequencies. Then walls were plastered to ready for decoration.

We also discussed with the school to help aid in the prevention of sound transference upstairs due to ongoing issues with other areas of the school. The ceiling frame was constructed and filled with a high density acoustic quilt and then filled over with our 19mm and 15mm HS Board. This was then finished off with plastering of the ceilings and all new light fittings installed
Other work included the installation of 3 FD60 acoustic doors complete with glazing panel and acoustic perimeter and drop down seals to create an air tight vacuum preventing sound transference.

Upon completion a handover was undertaken between Hush soundproofing and the customer to ensure satisfaction with a Sound test conducted to show 70% reduction of airborne and vibrational frequency sound transference.
